Bonnie Hopwood

BONNIE HOPWOOD, age 90, of Little Rock, Ark. finished her Earthly journey and went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 26, 2013. She was born Aug. 27, 1922 in Beebe, Ark. to Cicero Collier Goode and Tilitha Ann Udora Furgerson. Bonnie was a long time resident of Hot Springs before moving to Little Rock where she was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elbert Thomas Hopwood; three brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her son, Daniel Thomas Hopwood of Little Rock; her daughter, Ann Marie Thompson (Gary) of Portland, Texas; two grandchildren, Heather and Garrison Thompson; and her sister, Flodean Stewart, of Sherwood. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 29, 2013 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501) 224-8300. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. at 10 a.m., followed by graveside service at Crestview Cemetery in Hot Springs, Ark. at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Eastern European Missions, c/o Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, 10900 Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock, Ark., 72212 or Southern Christian Home, 100 West Harding Street, Morrilton, Ark., 72110.
