Russell C. Rhodes

Russell C. Rhodes, 68, of Bauxite, Ark. passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the VA hospital. He was born in Wynne, Ark. to Elmo and Patsy Rhodes. After serving eight years in the USAF, during the Vietnam War, Russell pastored several churches in Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma over 34 years. Russell is survived by his wife, Judy; two sons, Russ and Chris; his mother, Patsy; two sisters, Jeanette Rhodes, Sonya Hylle; one brother, Richard and two loving grandsons. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Thursday, May 2 from 6-8 p.m. at 3121 Castle Valley Dr., Benton, Ark. Funeral services will be Friday, May 3, 10 a.m. at Park Place Baptist Church in Bryant, Ark. Flowers may be sent to the church. Memorial donations may be made to BMAA Dept. of Missions, P.O.
