William Gayle Croft, 79, of Little Rock, went peacefully to be with his Heavenly Father, Wednesday, July 31, 2013, after battling lymphoma. He was born on, May 28, 1934 in Sage, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by parents, Maud Jackson and Mary Anna Hamm Croft, sister, Mary Lee Edmondson, three sister-in-laws and a brother-in-law. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kathlene Leonard Croft; daughters Brenda Dorman (Gene), Martha Croft and Jennifer Croft, of Little Rock; brothers Kenneth of Conway and Myron of Wichita; grandchildren; great-grandsons; brothers and sisters-in-laws; nieces and nephews. He retired as regional sales manager for Maxwell House Coffee. He served in the US Army 1956-1958. His faith in Christ led him to serve as deacon, teacher, and on committees at: Central Baptist, Jonesboro; Emmanuel Baptist, Mobile, Ala.; and Calvary Baptist, Little Rock. Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 6-8 p.m.. The funeral service will be Saturday, August 3, at 1 p.m. Both will be held Roller Chenal, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark.
