Leroy Nalley

Leroy Nalley, age 85, of Benton, passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013. He was born March 10, 1928 in Benton, Ark. to Charlie and Daisy Nalley. Leroy was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; 9 siblings, infant Mary Rachel, Carl "Boose" Nalley, Louis Nalley, Doris Wright, Elizabeth "Babe" McPherson, Charlene Beaty, Martha Ann Rogers, Leeman Nalley and John Nalley; son, Ronnie Nalley; and a grandson, Tanner Nalley. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patsy Ruth Nalley; daughter, Betty Crow and husband Mark; two sons, Randy Nalley and wife, Janet and Jeff Nalley and wife, Sheila; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Nalley; six grandchildren, Loren Crow and wife, Jill; Andrea Homesley and husband, Billy; Tonya Rogers and husband, Robby; Rhonda Nalley; Dillon Nalley and wife, Jayme; and Maeghan Nalley and fiancée, Tyler Askew; nine great-grandchildren, Hayes, Evan and Laci Crow, Keeleigh, Madyson and Conner Homesley, Austin and Garrett Rogers and Makenna Nalley; two brothers, Willis "Coke" Nalley and wife, Bonnie; and Ted Nalley and wife, Sylvia all of Benton. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 6 at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Sharon Cemetery. Bro. Richard Hamlin and Bro. Muncy Harris will be officiating.
