Maysel James Hayden

MAYSEL JAMES HAYDEN, age 91, of Jacksonville passed away at her home on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013 and is now residing with Jesus. She was under the care of Arkansas Hospice and Renota Pearson. She was born Oct. 16, 1921 in Raleigh, Miss. to the late Calie and Callie Axton McAlpin. She married Kenneth W. Hayden on Dec. 11, 1944. Mrs. Hayden retired from Pulaski County Special School District where she served as a cafeteria manager. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Mrs. Hayden was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Hayden. She is survived by her four children, Joe Hayden of Jacksonville, Brenda Sutton, Bruce, Miss., Karen Madison, Anchorage, Alaska, Twila Hayden, Jacksonville; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Gary McCormick officiating. Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Mausoleum.
