Bill Davidson, age 85, of Hill Creek, passed away August 5, 2013 at home with his family and friends by his side. He was born August 25, 1927 in Plumerville, Ark. Bill was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, he loved and enjoyed the fellowship of his church family and was there every time that he could be. Mr. Davidson was a Charter Member of the Conway County Mounted Patrol, he served as Commander for 31 years, and a Master Mason. He retired as Executive Vice President of the First State Bank of Morrilton after 39 years. Bill was a cattleman, a loving husband, dedicated father and grandfather. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Cicero and Mable Davidson, his first wife, Bobby Jean Manes Davidson, a daughter, Beverly Stapleton, a step-daughter: Sharon Crunklton, and two brothers: Jack and Doyle Davidson. He is survived by his wife Lois of Hill Creek, daughter: Linda Russell and husband Farrell of Plumerville; son: Mike Davidson and wife Thresa of Hill Creek; step-daughter: Sheila Crunklton and husband Mark of Conway, Grandsons: Jeff Russell and wife Holly of Plumerville, Dennis Russell and wife Candi of Morrilton; step-grandchildren: Eric Crunklton and wife Vicki of London, Leslie Barnes and husband Robert of Wooster, Amanda Bishop of Memphis; five great-grandchildren: Hannah, Haylee, Carson, Julie, and Allison; three step-great-grandchildren: Rayne, Connor and Jacob; Two Brothers: Jim "Bo" Davidson of Plumerville, Aubrey "Shorty" Davidson of North Little Rock; two sisters: Barbara Davidson and Peggy Smith both of Plumerville, several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Bill Davidson will be 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Church. Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Church.
