Jerrie A. Thompson

Ms. Jerrie A. Thompson, 74, of Crossett, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Ms. Thompson was a native and life long resident of Crossett. She worked in the Printing Office at Georgia-Pacific for many years and she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crossett. She was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Thelma Thompson and a brother, Bill Thompson. She is survived by her cousins, Tommy Thompson and wife, Becky; Gene Thompson and wife, Pat; James Thompson and wife, Sherry; Hunter and Tyler Thompson, all of Hamburg; and Leann Thompson Coody and husband, Caleb, of Bella Vista. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Staley officiating. Burial will be in Pinewood Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Tyler Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Caleb Coody, Frank Higginbotham, Andy Rials and David Goodwin. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
