Hester Montine Hall

God called home one of his own, Hester Montine (Rimmer) Hall, 94 of Damascus, to be with her beloved husband Williard L. Hall, on Sunday, August 11, 2013. Born in Guy, Arkansas on December 1, 1918, she was a daughter of Thomas G. and Lillie M. (Sims) Rimmer. She worked beside her husband as a dairy farmer, and was a loving mother and homemaker, an inspiration to everyone. Hester was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Damascus. Hester was preceded in death by her husband; parents; nine brothers and sisters and two great-grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are four daughters: Patsy Morris (Frank) of Conway, Deanie Riddle (Charles) of Damascus, Judy Smith of Greenbrier and Ellen Smith (Steve) of North Little Rock; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, friends and a very special friend Burn Nell Stevens. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, August 13, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. The funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, at First Baptist Church in Damascus, with Pastor Daniel Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Spires Cemetery.
