Rickie L. Phillips, 52, of Mayflower passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and was an expert crappie fisherman. He was employed by FedEx and would tell his co-workers "keep on truckin." Rickie had a heart of gold, loved his family and put everyone's needs before his own. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Martha Phillips, of Mayflower; daughters, Jessica Stewart and her husband, Joshua, of Mayflower and Shannon McAlister, (special niece) of Benton; three grandchildren, Sydney Phillips, Isaiah Stewart and Jeremiah Stewart; sisters, Sherry Craven, of Maumelle, Donna Babb, of England, Deborah Johnson, of Sherwood and Dena Johnson, of England; brother, Carl Phillips, of Sherwood; a host of other family, friends, nieces and nephews including his closest friends, John and Betty Miller and Todd Barrett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Betty Phillips; brother, Ronnie Phillips and his nephew, Jeremy Johnson. Funeral services will be held 10: a.m. Saturday at Cedar Heights Baptist Church, NLR. Burial will at Hunter Hill Cemetery in Clinton, Arkansas.
