Susan Gail Martin

Susan Gail Martin, 64, of Maumelle, Arkansas, passed away August 8, 2013 at her home as a result of health problems following her battle with cancer in the early 1990's. She viewed herself as a cancer survivor and supported the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer walk. Susan was born in Little Rock, graduated Hall High in 1966, then graduated South Central Career College in 1979. Susan worked in the family business, Arkansas Nursing Home, and at Systematics. She was a debutante at Pleasant Valley Country Club and was president of the Little Rock Jaycettes. Susan was preceded in death by her beloved parents M. Russell Martin and Rose Ellen (Piazza) Martin. She is survived by her children Shannon Gail Goins and Brian Goins of Maumelle; and her brother, R. Wayne Martin, of Little Rock. A casual gathering in her honor will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. at Maumelle Park, 9009 Pinnacle Valley Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72213, Pavilion #4.
