Herschel Royce Heavener

Herschel Royce Heavener, of Little Rock, went to be with his Lord that he loved on August 13, 2013. Herschel was born on August 21, 1924 to the late William and Addie Heavener. Herschel was a dedicated truck driver for over 55 years and attended Crystal Hill Baptist Church, in Little Rock. His was known for loving his entire family very much. He is survived by his son Alan (Lee Ann) Heavener of Jacksonville, Ark.; his daughters, Beverly (Glenn) Taber of Little Rock, Ark. and Diane (Tim) Paul of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; his sisters, Gladys Fowler on North Little Rock, AR, Mary Sprinkle of Evening Shade, Ark. and Joyce (Phil) Sprinkle of Kingston, Ark.; his brothers, Brence (Faye), Larry (Janie), Bobby (Kay) all of Little Rock, Ark. and Ed (Martha) of Brinkley, Ark.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of s64 years, Earlene; his three brothers, Jesse, Ralph and Bill; and one sister, Barbara. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Roller Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR (501) 224-8300. A celebration of Herschel's life will be on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Crystal Hill Baptist Church in Little Rock, Ark.
