Macil Renfroe, 86, of Farmington, Ark., formerly of Russellville passed in to glory Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. The daughter of Clyde and Maude Morton, she was born September 11, 1926 in Breece, N.M. She met Truman E. Renfroe in Russellville and it was love at first sight. They lived in Houston for 35 years and moved back to Russellville where they retired. They were blessed with 69 years of marriage and were admired by many for their love and devotion to each other, their family and their willingness to help others.Macil was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a natural caregiver and made everyone feel loved and welcomed. She always put the needs of others before her own and never complained. She was a source of faith and encouragement for family and friends. Her beautiful smile, sweet heart and loving soul will be missed but never forgotten. Macil was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Morton and Maude Morton Barefield; and her brother, James Barefield. She is survived by her husband, Truman E. Renfroe of Prairie Grove; brother, Robert Barefield of Kingman, Ariz.; son and daughter-in-law, David & Jerilyn Renfroe of Fayetteville; daughter and son-in-law, Janelle & Mark Ramirez of College Station, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Prairie Grove. Bishop Michael Stennett will officiate. Burial will be at 3 p.m. following the service at Old Baptist Cemetery in Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Serving as pallbearers are Allen Renfroe, Austin Eaves, Kevin Renfroe, Mark Wagstaff, Jim Reynolds and Jim Haynes. Honorary pallbearer is Mark Ramirez Jr. The Renfroe family would like to thank all those who provided tender love, care and support.
