Charles Hugh Coose, 86, of Stuttgart, entered his eternal home Friday, Aug. 23, 2013. He was born Aug. 15, 1927 in Warren, Ark. to James Clifton and Neva McKeown Coose. Charles was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and cooking fish for his friends and family. His love for fishing and deer hunting was passed on to his grandsons, who enjoyed many hunting trips with him. Charles was a retired heavy equipment owner/operator and farmer. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sherry Watson; a brother, Delbert Coose; and a sister, Anita Robison. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of nearly 59 years, Betty Heien Coose; two daughters, Becky McNeese (Robert), and Judy Shook (Glen) all of Jacksonville, Ark.; six grandchildren, Scott McNeese (Kristi) of Cabot, Ark., Christopher McNeese of Nashville, Tenn., Michael Vaughan of Jacksonville, Ark., Lindsay Meins of Conway, Ark., Kaleb Meins of Jacksonville, Ark., Brandon Watson of Stuttgart; three great-granddaughters, Ava, Grace and Allie McNeese of Cabot, Ark.; two sisters, Mck Nordberg of Almyra, Ark. and Linda Hiltz of Brandon, FLa. Charles was a faithful member of Grand Prairie Church of Stuttgart and Masonic Euclid Lodge 130. The family request memorials made to Grand Prairie Church, P.O. Box 728, Stuttgart, Ark. 72160. A celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at Grand Prairie Church, 21st and Park Ave, Stuttgart, Ark., officiated by Bro. Thomas Bormann and Bro. Scott McNeese.
