Frank Smith

Dr. Frank Smith, 76, of Greenbrier, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013. He was born on Saturday, November 14, 1936 in Winchester, Tenn. to the late Parker and Sarah (McDowell) Smith. He was a great family guy. He was always there for them. No matter how far his family strayed, they were always home for the holidays. He graduated from UAMS in 1975 with a doctorate in Pharmaceutical medicine. He was a Pharmacist by trade, but a farmer at heart. His family knows how hard he worked on his acres of land, he even went as far as pulling weeds by hand. Being a perfectionist, he insisted on growing his own hay for the retired racing horses that he and his wife enjoyed for many years. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Bond) Smith; sons, Kurt Larkin Smith (Allison Dawn), Eric Franklin Smith (Gayla Frances), and Evan Douglas York Bell (Melissa Holloway); eleven grandchildren, Ashley Larkin Smith, Austin Trent Smith, Eric Scott Smith, Daniel Christopher Bell, Kendra Bell, Sara Bell, Landon Willmuth, Zachary Willmuth, Juneau Smith, Ethan Smith, and Abigail Smith; two great-grandchildren, Stephen Smith and Hallie Smith; brothers, Parker Smith Jr. (Jane) and Morgan Smith (Mary Ann); nieces; and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
