Gloria Angela Galvan

GLORIA ANGELA GALVAN (Alcala/Provencio), 77 years old, of North Little Rock, passed away on Nov. 29, 2013. She was born on Feb. 21, 1936, in San Fernando Valley, Calif., to the late Muscio and Theda (Calvillo) Alcala. Mrs. Galvan is preceded in death by her husbands, Bernard C. Galvan and David Provencio; her son, David Galvan; her daughter, Debra Martin; three brothers, Steven Alcala, Ernest Alcala, and Theadore (Rithchie) Alcala; and one sister, Consulo (Connie) Madgeleno. Gloria found happiness in helping others. This gift went beyond her family to those in her community and within her church family. Mrs. Galvan is survived by five daughters, Donna Aguirre, Delores Granandos, Denise Andres, Desiree Hudspeth, and Dorene James; and one son, Donavan Galvan; her 13 loving grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home (791-7400) in North Little Rock.
