Sarah Kate Dickerson

Sarah Kate Dickerson, 72, of Lonoke, passed away on December 5th, 2013. Sarah was born on August 28th, 1941 to the late Jessie and Anna Stauffer. In addition to her parents Sarah was preceded in death by her beloved husband D.W. Dickerson, as well as brother's Richard and Ollie Stauffer. Sarah is survived by two sisters, Mercedes Tibbs, Alta Dempsey, and a brother Willard Stauffer. Sarah was the mother of six children; Keith Dickerson, Jeff Dickerson, Janet Childers (Harold), Mark Dickerson (Candy), Kelly Harvey, and Brandon Dickerson. Sarah also had fifteen beautiful grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Sarah had many "adopted" children whom she loved as much as her own. Sarah was a generous, witty, fiery, kind hearted woman who loved her family with everything she had. Sarah was known for her sweet tea as well as her love for her family. She was a mother and best friend not only to her children and grandchildren but to anyone that truly got to know her. Sarah will be deeply missed not only by her family but by the countless lives she touched. Gone but never forgotten. Visitation will be Thursday December 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. till Service time at 2:30 p.m. First Baptist Church, Gurdon, Arkansas with Bro. James Ray Raines officiating.
