Jacob Alan Shireman

Jacob Alan Shireman, age 20, of Cabot, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. He was born April 29, 1993 in Gainesville, Florida. Jacob was a wonderful son, brother, grandson and friend. He loved to hunt and fish and had a great sense of humor. In high school, Jacob was a Regional and State champion in Speech and he formerly attended First Baptist Church in Cabot. He was currently attending Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. He is survived by his mother, Melissa George Shireman Holcomb of Mayflower; his father, Jeffrey Shireman of Jupiter, Florida; his grandmother, Peggy Bennett of Cabot; grandparents, Jerry and Rachel Shireman of Waldo, Florida; his brothers, Jonah Shireman of Rhode Island; Joseph Shireman of Mayflower and Jeffrey Shireman of Jupiter, Florida; and his fiancée, Destiny Trenthan of Stark, Florida. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather, J.D. Bennett. Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.
