Doyne Edwin Siler

Doyne Edwin Siler, 80, of Pleasant Plains, died December 17, 2013. He was born August 11, 1933 to the late Marion Siler and Nolia Cooprider Siler O'Sullivan. He was a deacon, Sunday school teacher and faithful servant at the Independence Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Peason Siler; daughter, Debbie Smith and her husband Ronnie of Pleasant Plains; two sons, Ricky Siler of Pleasant Plains and Randy Siler and his wife Shea of Little Rock; a brother, Carthel Siler of Pleasant Plains; three grandchildren, Dana Cox of Pleasant Plains, Clint Siler of Pleasant Plains and Lindsey Nichols of Austin; four step grandchildren, Melissa Nagle of Bald Knob, Ronnie Smith, Jr of Batesville, Shelby Winkle of Conway and Cody Winkle of Batesville; great-grandchildren, Braden Cox, Caden Siler and Trenton Cox of Pleasant Plains, Brody and Hallie Nichols of Austin; two step great-grandchildren, Chris Goforth of Beebe and Hunter Goforth of Pleasant Plains. He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Sherry Ann Siler and a grandaughter, Mallory Money. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. Services will be Friday, 2 p.m., Independence Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Goad Cemetery.
