Katherine Danielle Horton

Katherine Danielle (Taylor) Horton, age 31, of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was born in Russellville, Arkansas on February 23, 1982 to Danny and Jackie Taylor. Kate is preceded in death by one son, Max Heath Horton and her paternal and maternal grandparents. Survivors include her husband, Heath Horton and daughter, Piper Lee Horton, of the home; step-daughters, Lyndsey Mattingly and Hadley Horton of Conway; stepsons, Ethan Horton of Bigelow and Ryder Horton of Conway; step-granddaughters, Charley and Paisley Mattingly of Conway; parents, Danny and Jackie Taylor of Russellville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Judy Kelley of Leslie; sister, Gina Hobbs of Russellville; brother-in-law, Justin Horton and wife Christy of Harrison; nieces, Maddison Hobbs, Macey Kate Hobbs, Maddison Horton and Blakeleigh Horton; nephews, Gunner Hobbs, Jagger Hobbs, Alex Mills and Trey Horton; and many other friends and family who will also mourn her passing. Arrangements are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Graveside services for Kate were 2 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Leslie, Arkansas with Bro. David Watts officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Horton, Nolan Cox, Roy Cox, Rick Deckard, Bill Martin and Doyle Barnes. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Kelley, Junior Kelley, Dennis Kelley, Kevin Stewart, Rob Snow, Ted Stephenson and John Barker. A Celebration of life was held for Kate at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Russellville, Ark.
