Edgar DeWain "Brad" Bradberry

Edgar DeWain "Brad" Bradberry of Alexander was called home Dec. 27, 2013. He was born May 30, 1932, in Point Deluce (south of DeWitt), son of the late Edgar Oma and Eula Lee Williams Bradberry. Early in his career he was employed for BEI Precision Systems and Space Company where he helped produce encoders used in early NASA flights. "Brad" worked as a nurse in the prison system for 23 years and served his country for 40 years in the Army with the 148th Evac. Hospital. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Dean Bradberry of 39 years; two sisters, Mary Christine Campbell and Ruby Burris; two brothers, Jim Bob Bradberry and Guestous Williams Stonecipher. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Pauline of Alexander; four sons, Gary (Tina) Bradberry of Alexander, Rob (Kathy) Bradberry of Mabelvale, Cecil (Janice) Bradberry of Poplarville, Miss. and Doug (Alice) Bradberry of Maumelle; two brothers, Craig Donald Bradberry I of DeWitt and Aubrey Dean Bradberry of Gould; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209, (501) 455-5800. Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
