Douglas Ray Pierce

Douglas Ray Pierce, 55, of Sherwood, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013. He was a member of the Apostolic Church in North Little Rock and was employed for 28 years at Sysco Foods as a National Accounts Director. Douglas loved his church, family, friends, the Razorbacks, and playing golf. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debbie Hale Pierce; two sons, Brent Pierce (Emily) of Little Rock and Bradley Pierce of Sherwood; three grandchildren, Maddox, Addison and Luke Pierce all of Little Rock; mother, Sue Pierce Fuller of Rockwall, Texas; brothers, Blake Pierce of Magnolia and Scotty Pierce of Rogers; sister, Susan Jackson of Heath, Texas; and a host of other family and friends. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, James Pierce. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Apostolic Church, North Little Rock. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
