Priscilla S. Wagnon

Priscilla S. Wagnon, 90, of Camden, Ark. passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Silver Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Oct. 5, 1922, in Camden, Ark., where she was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Camden High School in 1940 and attended Hendrix College. For many years until her retirement, she was a Sales Clerk for Catherine's where she enjoyed greeting customers and spending time with co-workers and friends. She was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Beulah Smedley; and her life partner, John Thelbert Wagnon. She is survived by one son, John T. Wagnon Jr. and wife, Linda of Harmony Grove; a daughter, Anna W. Jones and husband, Clay of Hampton, Ark.; grandchildren, Christa Word and husband, Wayne, Erin McAllister and husband, Mike, Shannon Simon and Chris Callaway all of Camden, Ark., and Kati Jones of Sheridan, Ark.; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 01, 2013, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 9 a.m. until service time at Proctor Funeral Home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family would like to give a special thanks to Silver Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dr. Bill Dedman, Dr. Larry Braden and all the Hospice Staff.
