Willis Wayne Felton

Willis Wayne Felton, 76, of Bryant, passed away Feb. 1, 2013. He was born Dec. 6, 1936, in Carter, Okla. to the late Willis Felton and Lois Mikles. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bryant. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Ellis McClain. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Bebby Felton of Bryant; mother-in-law, Carra Jo Toler, of Bryant; daughter, Tammy Shaw and husband, Chris of Benton; son, Nathan Felton and wife, Andra of Bryant; sister, Linda Driscoll and husband, Bob of Owasso, Okla.; grandchildren, Jana and Clint Standfill, Chase and Christen Shaw, Aidan Shaw, Kelsey and Alex Coning, Mika Felton, Will Felton and a host of special nieces and nephews, including Brett Driscoll and wife, Gina; Libbie Gelvin, as well as Hollie Moore and husband, Chris. Wayne was a retired medical technician for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. After retiring, he started his own backflow system inspection business. Wayne was a member of Gorman Hunting Club, enjoyed spending time with friends and family on Lake Ouachita and a long-time fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR, as well as a hot rod enthusiast. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m. Tuesday with burial to follow eat New Rosemont Cemetery. Rev. Hammett Evans will officiate the service.
