Zeluma Elmira Williams Campbell

ZELUMA ELMIRA WILLIAMS CAMPBELL of Little Rock, Ark., loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma, passed away in Sheridan, Ark. on Jan. 31, 2013, at the age of 93. She was born in Hamilton, Ark., on Dec. 22, 1919, daughter of Webster and Maggie Williams, who preceded her in death. Also preceding Mrs. Campbell was her husband of 54 years, George W. Campbell, who she married Nov. 22, 1937; and brothers, Marshall Williams, W.H. Williams and Lewis Williams. Mrs. Campbell retired from Westinghouse Corporation in 1979 after 31 years of service. She was a faithful member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and was known to all as the "Pie Lady" as she made pies for the church for any occasion. She loved to crochet, cook, play bingo and dominoes. She is survived by sons, Herman Campbell of Lafayette, La.; Henry (Butch) Campbell and wife, Susie of Sheridan, Ark.; Tommy Campbell and wife, Jimmie of Memphis, Tenn., and "special" daughter, Jean Ann and Steve Cox of Bryant, Ark.; grandchildren, Carol (Justin) Denney of Sheridan, Ark.; Christie (Dean) Halijan of Sherwood, Ark.; Jack (Monica) Campbell of Sheridan, Ark.; Tom (Stephanie) Campbell of Lonoke, Ark.; Carmen Parish of Pine Bluff, Ark.; Shelyn (Bob) Schmidt of Allen, Texas; Mark (Katrina) Campbell of Memphis, Tenn.; Nicole Campbell of Macon, Ga.; John (Kim) Hedden of Benton, Ark.; Kelli (David) Rappold of Houston, Ark.; four "special" grandchildren, James, Jeremy, Caroline and Sarah Cox; 20 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Hamilton Cemetery, Carlisle, Ark. with Brother Larry Ballard officiating.
