Constance D. Dyer, 75, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, February 2nd, 2013. She was born May 26th, 1937 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to James and Vernella McGhee Bowers. Mrs. Dyer was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She loved children. She was a people person, and always had a smile to lend. She was a member of St. Matthews COGIC of North Little Rock and as a believer in Jesus Christ is now a resident of Heaven! She is preceded in death by four siblings. Cherishing her memory are her husband of 14 Super Golden years, Julious Dyer; two sons, Frederick Gooden Jr. of Little Rock and Brian Gooden of Decatur, Illinois; two daughters, Freda Glover and Angela Hill, both of North Little Rock; 3 sisters, Verna Rolax of North Little Rock, Mae Joyce Bowers of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, and Fra Helen Bowers of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday February 12th, 2013 at Saint Matthews Church of God In Christ, 4801 East Broadway, North Little Rock, with Pastor Jerome Strickland officiating.
