Joan N. (Gocke) Morgan, 88, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully the morning of February 5, 2013. She was born October 15, 1924, in Terre Haute, Ind., where she lived until age 18. When she moved to Little Rock, she enrolled in nursing school at St. Vincent Hospital and graduated as an RN. Soon thereafter, she met and married Bon M. Morgan, her husband of 51 years, who passed away in December 2000. Joan and Bon made Little Rock their home and raised their four children there. She continued to work as a nurse and in the healthcare field until well into her 80's. Joan will be remembered as a loving, caring and forgiving person. She was active and exercised daily. She loved to ballroom dance and enjoyed seeing God's creation through travel. Joan was an optimist and always saw the good in others.
