Sara Sue Reed Passafiume

Sara Sue Reed Passafiume, 79, of Little Rock, passed away February 5, 2013. She was born in Woodbury, Tennessee on February 13, 1933 to Bragg and Myrtle Sue Reed, and was a faithful Christian all of her life. In Little Rock, she was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Mercer Reed and Bobby Reed and daughter, Suzanne Sears. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William "Bill" Passafiume; son, Russ Passafiume and wife, Gay of Little Rock; son-in-law, Steve Sears; brother-in-law, Richard Kashinsky (Betsy); grandchildren, Jennifer Piccino (Matt), Kelley Dague (Bret), Sarah Passafiume and Graham Sears; and great-grandson, Landry Piccino. As a pre-school teacher for over twenty years, Sue touched the lives of countless children and their parents and was beloved by all her co-workers. Her humble and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held on Friday, February 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Willie Hamblen. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be Monday, February 11 at 1 p.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
