Louise Mattox Keady

LOUISE MATTOX KEADY, a long time resident of Little Rock and wife of former Arkansas Democrat Sports Editor Jack Keady, died Wednesday Feb. 6, 2013 in Baton Rouge, La. after a short illness. She was married for over 61 years to her husband who preceded her in death in 2002. Louise was a wife, mother, and homemaker.
She taught a children's bible class at Pulaski Heights Church of Christ until the church relocated to Pleasant
Valley Church of Christ where she remained a faithful member. She was a member of the South Baton Rouge Church of Christ during the 8 years she lived with her son and his wife in Baton Rouge.
She is survived by her son, John L. Keady, his wife, Kaye F. Keady of Baton Rouge, a sister, Martha Jo Pearce of Austin, Texas, and a sister in law, Adelle Mattox of Little Rock, two grandsons, a grand daughter-in-law, and three great-grandsons. Graveside services will be held at PineCrest Memorial Park at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.
