(Ret) Chief Master Sergeant Silas Benjamin LeGrow, 90, of Cabot, Ark., passed away Jan.15, 2013. He was born August 12, 1922, in Bauline, Newfoundland, to the late Benjamin LeGrow and Mary LeGrow. He was a WWII Veteran and Bataan Death March and POW survivor in the Pacific Theatre. He is survived by his wife Edna LeGrow of Cabot, Ark. and four sons; Kenny LeGrow and Howard LeGrow of Cabot, David LeGrow (Cathy) Of West Plains, Mo., and Robert LeGrow (Kay) of Hernando, Miss. He also leaves behind two grandchildren Brett LeGrow (Jennifer) of Southaven, Miss., and Aaron LeGrow of San Diego, Calif., two great-grandchildren Brooke and Blake LeGrow of Southaven, Miss, a sister, Anita Gaulton of Stephenville, Newfoundland, and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne LeGrow. A special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Little Rock Veterans' Hospital. Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400).
