William "Billy" Earl Ringo

William "Billy" Earl Ringo, 73 of Dumas, Arkansas, died February 8, 2013. He was born on December 2, 1938, at Dark Corner, Arkansas the son of the late, John and Donna Ringo. Billy was a member of First Baptist Church, Gould; he served as a Deacon for 20 years, Sunday School Director and was very active in the church. He retired from Jones Equipment in Grady where he was parts manager for 25 years; he also served in the United States Navy. Billy loved his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed turkey hunting and was a member of National Wildlife Turkey Federation. Billy was a member of the Harmony Baptist Association Disaster Relief Team from its inception. Survivors are his wife, Sherry Ringo of Dumas, Arkansas a son Steven Ringo of Gillett, Arkansas and two daughters, Beverly Cook of Star City, Arkansas and Debbie Williams of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and a sister, Jane White of Star City, Arkansas, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation held on Wednesday, February 13, from 1-2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Gould with memorial service following at 2pm, with Rev. Gary Ralls officiating. Memorials in memory of Billy may be made to First Baptist Church Gould, Arkansas or to Dark Corner Cemetery Association, Gould, Arkansas. Griffin Funeral Home Dumas in charge of arrangements.
