Allie Melba Cantley

Allie Melba Calloway Cantley, of Crossett, Ark. who recently celebrated her 95th birthday, passed away February 11, 2013 at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on January 29, 1918 in Laran, Louisiana to her parents Joe Lee and Naughvelle Futch Calloway. Mrs. Cantley was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lester H. Cantley; a sister, Clorine Jones; a brother, Clarence Calloway and Allie's twin sister, Sallie Ham. Survivors include four sons, Harold Cantley (Lucy) of Traskwood, Ark.; Henry Cantley (Shirley) of Cabot, Ark.; Joe Lee Cantley (Barbara) and Larry Cantley of Crossett, Ark.; three brothers, Victor Calloway of Boston, Mass., Billy Ray Calloway (Eloise) of Crossett, Ark., Wayne Calloway of Strong, Ark.; five sisters, Leola Burns of Strong, Ark., Sudie Garner of El Dorado, Ark., Martha House (William) of Huntsville, Ala., Joann Smiley (Drayton) of Shreveport, La., Elaine Dees of Hermitage, Ark.; a sister-in-law, Grace Calloway of Strong, Ark.; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harold Cantley and Bro. Mike Cantley officiating. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com). Memorials can be made to Gideons' International, P.O.
