Charles R. King Jr.

Mr. Charles R. King Jr., age 57, of Jonesboro, Arkansas and passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House after a brave battle with cancer. Born August 23, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa, he was the son of Mr. Charles R. King Sr. and Edith Arlene Gebhart King. Mr. King, formerly of Ohio, grew up in North Little Rock Mr. King coached his children's little league team and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a retired right-of-way agent for Doyle Land Service in New Orleans, Louisiana and traveled to several states. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, grilling outdoors and electronics. Mr. King was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his father: Mr. Charles R. King Sr. of the home; three children: Cheryl King of Presque Isle, Maine, Jeffrey King and Charles Richard King both of Mansfield, Ohio; two brothers: John King of Little Rock, Arkansas and James King of Russellville, Arkansas; two sisters: Lorraine Anderson of Holdrege, Nebraska and Judith King of Little Rock, Arkansas; and a special companion: Vicki L. Graves of Colorado. Mr. King was preceded in death by his mother: Mrs. Edith Arlene King. The family has requested private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
