Norman C. Eanes, 93, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Norman was born in North Little Rock to the late Ottway O. and Ione Kirby Eanes. He was preceded death by his wife, Earline Garnett Eanes, also his brothers and sisters. Norman was a member of All Souls Church in Scott, Ark. He retired after many years in the Construction and Building Industry. He was a WWII Veteran after serving in the Army in Sydney, Australia. Norman enjoyed playing Bible Trivia, hunting, and fishing. Also enjoyed working on his farm raising cattle. He was very devoted to his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by twin daughters, Cathy Wilcox and husband, Doug, and Charlotte Dumboski; one son, Sonny Eanes; his sister Carolyn Koontz; and one granddaughter, Sarah; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400) with Reverend Ben Jordon officiating. Interment will follow at Bayou Meto Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. before the funeral service. Special thanks to the staff and friends at Parkstone and the Nursing staff at Springhill Baptist Hospital and Rehab.
