Peter Nortier

Dr. Peter Nortier, aged 88, of Grand Rapids, and formerly of Almont, Mich. and Little Rock, Arkansas, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Feb. 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Rainey Nortier. Peter is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Jo Nortier of Louisiana and their daughter, Lauren; and Steve Nortier of Grand Rapids; sister, Martina Heyboer, sisters-in-law, Peggy Saunders and Margaret Nortier; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Darlene Motley; as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at LaGrave Christian Reformed Church, 107 LaGrave Ave SE. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, 1833 Plainfield NE and on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
