Minnie T, Evans

Minnie Evans, 94, of Mabelvale went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 13, 2013. She was born in Quitman, Ark. to the late David and Maudie Tapley. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bryant Evans; brothers, Alfred, Bryant and David Tapley; sisters, Wincie Tapley, Stella Jolly, Vera Glenn, and Mildred Fureigh Chambers; and a great-grandchild, Pierce Steele. She is survived by a son, James Evans; two daughters, Anna (Donnie) Steele and Donna (Delvin) Hurt; brother, Arthur (Betty) Tapley; six grandchildren, Mark (Beth) Steele, Michael (Melinda) Steele, Sarah (Eric) Yates, April (Matt) Riley, Alissa (Jay) Rice and Amanda Hurt; seven great-grandchildren, Katlyn, Isaac, Caleb, Bryson, Reagan, Kennedy and Jaycob; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Quitman, Ark. with Reverend Delvin Hurt officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
