Elnora Ann Johnson

Elnora Ann Johnson transitioned from earth to heaven February 15, 2013 in Riverdale, Georgia. Preceding her in death were: parents, Thomas Robinson and Naomi Tarrant; grandparents, Irene and William DeLoney, Sr. and grandson, Dominique Johnson. Left to cherish her loving memories are: son, Adrain Johnson (Sharele); six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; beloved aunts, Hazel B. DeLoney, Betty Shead, Alexis Hebert, and Dorothy Perry. Ann, as she was affectionally called, joined Waters Temple C.O.G.I.C. at an early age. She moved to Chicago and worked for the United States Postal Services, and was an active member of Chicago's Dunbar Alumni Chapter. After retirement she moved to New Orleans and returned to Little Rock after Katrina. She became an active and faithful member of Reed Memorial CME Church under the pastorage of Rev. Tracey Turner. Ann served on the Stewardess Board, did volunteer work, and was a member of AARP and NARFE. A memorial service will be Thursday, February 21, 2013, 2 p.m. at Reed Memorial CME, 3101 S.
