Jerry Neil Wallis

Jerry Neil Wallis, 56, of Jacksonville went to be with Jesus Feb. 13, 2013. He was born Sept. 17, 1956 in Newport Ar. to Jerry L. Wallis and Mary Sutterfield. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sondra Wallis. Jerry was a truck driver and traveled the country, then worked for the city of Jacksonville until he became disabled. Survivors include his mother and father, sister Karen Stackhouse, two daughters, Christina Elwood and Tammy Shannon (both of Jacksonville), five grandchildren, Kaylan Michelle Hacker, Courtney Anne Hacker, Nikolas Eugene Elwood, Paul Davis Boje and Anastasia Marie Boje, two sons-in-law, Buddy Elwood and Brandon Shannon and lots of extended family and friends. Memorial service will be held on Thursday Feb. 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Praise Assembly of God, 4700 S. Bowman Rd. (corner of Col. Glenn and S. Bowman Rd.).
