Larry Foreman

Larry Dwite "L.D." Foreman, 70, of Searcy, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at the White County medical Center in Searcy. He was born November 21, 1942 in Coy, Arkansas a son of the late Harley and Ila Bankston Foreman. L.D. was a proud veteran of the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He was a retired truck driver, mechanic and painter. He was an avid collector of antiques including old coins and die cast cars and trucks. He also enjoyed reading his western books and a good conversation over a cup of coffee. He is survived by his children, Larry Dewayne Foreman, Wendy Marie Light, Harley Dwite Foreman, Jerry Delayne Foreman and Geniese Rymer; his significant other, Shirley Cantrell; mother of his children, Hazel Foreman; brothers, Charles and James Foreman; sisters, Debbie Davis and Diane Foreman and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Ray and a sister, Jeanette. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment, with military honors, will follow in the 16th Section Cemetery, near Austin, by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
