Nicholas Lewis Camferdam, age 3, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Nicholas was born August 2, 2009 in Little Rock to Robert and Allison Camferdam. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, David Camferdam and James Wrotny. Although Nicholas' life would be considered short, he was able to touch the lives of many. His laugh and smile could melt the hearts of those around him. He loved being held and watching his favorite TV show, Olivia the Pig. He is survived by his parents; a brother, Robert Jeffords Camferdam; grandparents, Troy and Lynn Ratliff and Ann Camferdam Wrotny; great-grandfather, Austin Lewis and many aunts, uncles and cousins all of whom loved and cared for him The family wishes to thank the staff at Arkansas Children's Hospital for their care and kindness, as well as a special thanks to Mikal Childress and Taryn Smith for their loving support and care. The family will receive and greet friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday February 28 at the home of Ann Wrotny, 3902 Foxcroft Rd, Little Rock. A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4000 N. Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock, AR on Friday March 1 at 11 a.m. officiated by Msgr. Francis I. Malone. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Nicholas Camferdam Memorial Fund c/o I Can – Arts & Resource Center, 1040 Angel Court, Little Rock, Ark. 72206.
