Barry Eugene Smith, beloved son, brother and friend passed away suddenly on Monday, January 1, 2013 and went to be with the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his father, John W. Smith. Barry is survived by his mother, Lenora Smith; brother, John Smith and his wife, Beth and sister, Susie Burgess and her husband, Gary; Julie Hobbs and her husband, Steve; daughter, Jessica; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.

Barry is a veteran of the U.S. Army and volunteered for two terms in Vietnam. Barry was the owner of several restaurants including Cafe' St. Moritz. In the past few years Barry and his partner, Julie Hobbs founded Smith-Hobbs Interiors. His honesty and hard work ethics created a business that will be an everlasting blessing in many homes.

Barry's warm smile and gracious heart will be greatly missed. He was totally a giving of himself to others. His spirit will live inside of us forever.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Funeral Home. A celebration of Barry's life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 224-8300.
