Pauline Trucks Camper of Pine Bluff, Ark., passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born July 9, 1923, in Cleveland County to Garvin B. and Ruth Glover Bryant Trucks. She was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1941. Mrs. Camper was a retired District Staff Assistant and Group Manager for Illinois Bell Telephone Company for 36 years in Champaign and Springfield Ill., before returning to Pine Bluff in 1984. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff, life member of Lucky Chapter 150 order of the Eastern Star of Rantoul, Illinois and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Raymond E. Camper, whom she married on April 14, 1946, in Pine Bluff; her parents; her step father, Edward M. Bryant; sisters, Jeanette Long, Mildred DeJarnette Womble, a brother, James Bryant and a grandson, Ryan D. Clark. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Clark (Robert) of Monroe, La., Paula Webb (Tommy) of Pine Bluff; her companion of 18 years, Jerry Fritz of Springfield, Ill.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a sister Maxine Monteith of Pine Bluff. Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. at Robinson's. Service will be 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend David Fleming officiating.
