Joseph A. Terry

Joseph A. Terry. Joe, age 85, passed away on December 25, 2012, in Albuquerque, N.M. He was born in Boston, Mass., October 8, 1927, but raised in Little Rock by David and Adolphine Terry. He left Central High School and joined the US Navy. He served as Radar Operator in the South Pacific area aboard a CVE Escort Carrier. At war's end, he attended both Universities of Arkansas and New Mexico. He then operated three separate and successful glass businesses in Memphis, Orlando and finally in Albuquerque. His passions were always sports and politics. He attended Democratic National Conventions where he met John F. Kennedy, his brother Bobby and President Johnson. After retiring at age 50, Joe spent his time living in Albuquerque, New Orleans and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is survived by three sons and one brother, William L. Terry, his wife, Betty, and their three daughters of Little Rock.
