Robert Lattin, Sr.

Robert Edward Lattin Sr., age 62, of Alexander, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. He was born January 14, 1950 in Bauxite, Arkansas. Mr. Lattin was a U.S. Army Veteran and later retired from the Reserves. He also retired from the Granite Mt. Rock Quarry as a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Lattin served several years with the Masons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Deaton Lattin and Annie Lois (Jones) Lattin, three sisters and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Irene Lattin; three children, Mahala Michele Finkle and husband Rick; Robert Edward Lattin Jr. and Crystal Gail Herrmann; granddaughter, Abigail Faith Herrmann; seven brothers, Samuel D. Lattin Jr., Charlie Richard Lattin, James Leslie Lattin, Freddie Carroll Lattin, Ronnie Lee Lattin, John Wayne Lattin and Billy Clyde Lattin and four sisters, Rachel White, Ruthie Blake, Louise Davis and Linda Baker. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 10 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 11 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Butler Cemetery in Alexander.
