Mrs. Fannie "Mrs. Pete" Mae Mitchell, 82, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. She was born on December 4, 1930 to the late Albert and Annie (Guyton) Jones in Sallis, Mississippi. She was a faithful member of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mothers board in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She also was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Mitchell, Sr.; parents, Albert Jones and Annie Guyton Jones; brothers, Raymond Jones, Nora Jones, Roosevelt (Red Bone) Jones and James "Sonny" Jones; sisters, Lillian Jones-Martin, Katie Jones-Webb and Victoria Jones-Britt. She is survived by her children; daughters, Bobbie Mitchell-Bryant (Earl), Evelyn Mitchell-Creal, Lynette Mitchell-Brown and Wanda Mitchell; sons, Curtis Mitchell Jr., Richard Mitchell (Verna), George Mitchell (Vicky), Dwight Mitchell, Ron Parker (Linda), Tyrone Mitchell, Danny Mitchell (Melissa) and Arnold Mitchell (Janine); sisters, Maggie Jones-Harper, Flora Jones-Nichols and Annie Jones-Percy (Marvin); host of 49 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.
