Jeanice Newcomb Adams

Jeanice Newcomb Adams, of Glenwood, passed away quietly at home on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. She was born on May 9, 1927 at Glenwood, the daughter of Robert E. Newcomb and Eunice Kitchens Newcomb. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Leatrice Sanders. She is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Adams; her sister, Billye Newcomb; her brother, Hugh Newcomb; five children; two step-sons; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. A private burial will be held at a later time.
