Mattie C. Lindsey

Mattie C. Lindsey, 97, of Alma, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 in Alma. She was born March 13, 1915 in Colorado to the late Jim and Captola Bomar. She was a retired Executive Secretary for AMF Cycle Co. in Little Rock, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Lindsey, Sr., and a son, A.J. Lindsey Jr. She is survived by three grandchildren, Holly Lindsey of North Little Rock, Marc Lindsey of Lavaca, and Lora Toland of San Diego; one great-grandchild, Davis Lindsey of Lavaca; a sister, Shirley McCadon of Missouri City, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Johnnie Alice Winn of North Little Rock. Mrs. Lindsey will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark. with interment of the cremains at Roselawn Memorial Park, Little Rock, Ark. at a later date.
