JAMES DURELL EASLEY, age 70, of Jacksonville, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013. He was born Oct 7, 1942, in Orlando, Fla. to the late Wilbur and Helen Easley. He was a retired United States Air Force Veteran who served during Vietnam. Mr. Easley received numerous awards including; the Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon with four Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaigns Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with Silver Leaf Cluster and Oak Leaf Cluster. He was preceded in death by his brothers Charles and Laird. He is survived by his loving wife Josephine Easley, children; Richard Easley and his wife, Beth, Sandra Easley Sherman, Theresa Easley, and Dale McGraw, grandchildren; Mariah Johnson, Marciana McGraw, and one great-grandchild. His sisters, Nancy (Raymond) Josey, Lillian Cutten, Marsha (Wayne) Braun, and Sue Luckey. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
