IMOGENE GLOVER SWAIM, 95, of North Little Rock, died peacefully in hospice care Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013. She is survived by her son, Larry (and LaDonna) Swaim of Smyrna, Tenn.; her daughters, Carole Ahart of Bryant, Judy (and Robert) Kratovil of Atlanta; four grandsons; three granddaughters; four great-grandsons; and four great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Thomas Swaim; her daughter, Janet Lea Burchfield; her mother, Florence Montgomery Glover; her father, Sam F. Glover; her brothers, Hal Glover, Faris Glover, Joe Beal Glover, and Robert Glover; and her son-in-law, James T. Ahart. Mrs. Swaim was born Feb. 28, 1917, in Guy. She and Mr. Swaim met in 1938 and, after a four-week courtship, were married for 69 years. She was a long-time member of Somers Avenue Church of Christ, a loving mother, and a doting grandmother. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. (501-791-7400). Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment.
