Michael Taylor Pyron, 64, of Sherwood, Ark, passed away on January 13th, 2013. Born to Wilson Nathaniel Pyron Sr. and Kathryn Louise Pyron, he was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and business leader in the community. He will be missed and his memory cherished by his family and business peers throughout the state of Arkansas. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Patricia A. Pyron, four children, Jonathan K. Pyron, Thomas M. Pyron, Kathryn R. Champion, and Mary E. Wiuff. Mike leaves behind six grandchildren: Endigo J. Parker-Pyron, Weston B.T. Champion, William Taylor Burns, Preston M. Pyron, Maddox R. Champion. He was dearly loved by his brother, Wilson Nathaniel Pyron Jr., and sister, Linda Louise Pyron. He was part of the starting five of the 1966 AAA State Champion Basketball team at Central High School his senior year, and went on a full athletic scholarship to UALR where he graduated with a mathematics degree. His professional accomplishments include earning and maintaining accreditation with the Appraisal Institute, MAI and SRA certifications; served as founding Chairman of the Arkansas Real Estate Appraisal Licensing and Certification Board from 1991-1994, appointed by then Governor Bill Clinton, including being issued State Certified General Appraiser license CG0001. His community work included serving as President of the Immaculate Conception School Board, and a member of the Civitan Club. He was an example to young children as a basketball coach, and a collegiate educator at UALR teaching the practices and theories of real estate appraisal. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 17th, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr.
