Lewis "Bud" Martin, 90, of Little Rock, joined his heavenly father on January 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Jane Elizabeth Martin, his parents and his brother Bradford Martin.

He is survived by his two daughters and their families: Lynneanne Martin Coyle and Erin James Coyle of Sterling. Va. and their son Andrew of Tucson, Ariz.; Beverly Jean Martin Roy and Duane Alan Roy Jr. of Cabot, Ark. and their children Wade of Jacksonville, Ark.; Rebecca and Amy of North Little Rock, Ark.; and Ashley, Cody and Terry Joseph, of Cabot, Ark.

Mr. Martin served in the United States Navy on Guam during World War II. Following his military service he obtained a Bachelors degree in Business and had a long and distinguished career with Equitable Life Assurance. Music as a means of worshipping the Lord he loved passionately is what drove "Bud" Martin and he spent over 30 years as the Minister of Music at Bethany Assembly of God church in Springfield, Mass. where he inaugurated both the annual Living Christmas Tree and Living Cross musical programs as well as playing the organ for the weekly "Bethany Hour" radio broadcast. He was the Choir Director and Organist for Western Hills United Methodist Church in Little Rock for many years and leaves behind many worship songs that he wrote for his various choirs over the years. A member of the American Guild of Organists and a gifted pianist, Mr. Martin continued to share his love of music with his fellow residents of the Elmcroft Assisted Living Center in Sherwood, Ark. where he gave a piano concert every Thursday.

Memorials may be made to World Vision U.S. Headquarters, 34834 Weyerhaeuser Way South, Federal Way, Wash. 98001.
